Theme: Compassion & caring for others
Caregiver Tip: Let your child lead the play. Try not to direct what they should do. If your child feels like talking, gently offer suggestions or ask open-ended questions—some children enjoy talking to themselves or the animals.
Set the Scene:
Honey has a small“ouch” spoton her leg.
Caregiver says:
“Uh-oh… Honey has a tiny ‘ouchy’. Shall we help her feel better?”
Compassion Moment: Let your child choose and use the felt stickers - bandage, cotton swab, and carrot to help Honey.
Give them time to decide what Honey might need and how they want to help. Follow your child’s lead. There is no right or wrong way to show care.

•That’s such a thoughtful thing to do!
• Compassion means showing you care! And that’s what you’re doing!
